We believe exceptional therapy should be easier to access. That's why Wild Indigo Counseling Collective is proud to accept several major insurance plans, making high-quality mental health care more accessible to individuals, couples, families, and children across Greensboro, the Triad, and throughout North Carolina.
We are currently in-network with:
Insurance coverage varies by plan, deductible, and behavioral health benefits. If you have questions about your benefits or what your sessions may cost, we're happy to help you understand your coverage before you get started.
If we're not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. To make that process as simple as possible, we partner with Thrizer, a secure platform that takes much of the hassle out of out-of-network reimbursement. Rather than paying the full session fee and waiting weeks or months to file claims yourself, many clients are able to pay only their estimated responsibility at the time of service while Thrizer handles the claim submission and reimbursement process behind the scenes. It's one more way we aim to remove unnecessary barriers so you can focus on what matters most—your healing.
At Wild Indigo, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Our clinicians bring different areas of expertise and approaches to the work, allowing us to offer thoughtful care for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of needs.
One-on-one therapy for adolescents and adults seeking support, healing, insight, or meaningful change. Our approach is tailored to you and may draw from a range of evidence-based, relational, and experiential approaches.
Developmentally appropriate, compassionate therapy for children and teens. We work to create a space where young people feel safe, understood, and supported while helping families navigate the challenges that arise along the way.
A focused, brain-body-based approach that can help clients access and process experiences that may be difficult to fully address through words alone. Brainspotting is often incorporated into therapy for trauma, anxiety, emotional patterns, and other experiences held deeply within the nervous system.
A specialized, evidence-based treatment for OCD and related anxiety disorders. ERP helps clients gradually build their capacity to face fears and uncertainty while reducing the compulsive behaviors that keep anxiety cycles going.
For clients interested in better understanding the connection between their nervous system, emotions, relationships, and patterns of behavior. This approach incorporates an understanding of how our bodies respond to stress, threat, connection, and safety—and supports greater flexibility and capacity over time.
Affirming, individualized support for clients navigating ADHD, autism, AuDHD, late identification, executive functioning challenges, sensory differences, burnout, identity, and the unique ways neurodivergence can shape relationships and daily life .
Sometimes, insight alone isn't enough. Somatic therapy recognizes the connection between the mind and body and incorporates attention to sensation, movement, nervous system responses, and the ways our experiences can shape us beyond conscious thought. This work can help clients build a deeper relationship with their bodies and develop greater capacity for regulation, connection, and change.
Not everything we experience can be easily put into words. Expressive arts therapy incorporates creative processes such as drawing, writing, imagery, movement, and other forms of expression to support exploration and healing. No artistic ability is required—this work is about the process of expression, curiosity, and discovering what can emerge when we step outside of words alone.
Affirming, compassionate care for transgender, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and questioning individuals. We offer space to explore gender identity and expression, navigate relationships and life transitions, process the impact of stigma or minority stress, or simply receive therapy from a clinician who respects and affirms who you are.
You do not need to be questioning or exploring your gender for it to be relevant to your care. Gender-affirming therapy means your identity is respected as part of who you are—not treated as something that needs to be explained, defended, or fixed.
When clinically appropriate, qualifying clients may receive letters of support for gender-affirming medical care. These evaluations and letters are approached thoughtfully and collaboratively, with attention to applicable standards of care and the specific requirements of your medical provider or insurance plan.
If you're seeking a gender-affirming care letter, we encourage you to reach out so we can discuss your needs and determine whether one of our clinicians is the right fit.
Not every therapist is the right fit for every person—and we believe that's okay. Part of our job is helping you find the clinician and approach that make sense for you. If you're not sure where to start, we're happy to help you find your way.
