Wild Indigo is a native North Carolina plant known for its deep roots and quiet resilience. It spends years strengthening itself beneath the surface before it ever blooms.
We chose this name because it mirrors how healing actually happens. You already carry the capacity to heal. When the conditions are right—safety, attunement, respect—growth follows its own timing. Nothing forced. Nothing artificial. Just the steady return to yourself.
You don’t come here to be changed. You come here to take root.
Wild Indigo Counseling exists at the intersection of science, humanity, and belonging. We are a trauma-informed, nervous system–aware therapy practice rooted in North Carolina, offering care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply relational.
We believe healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering what is intact. Our work centers on helping people feel safer in their bodies, more anchored in themselves, and more able to meet life as it is. Therapy here is slow enough to be real, structured enough to be effective, and spacious enough to let something new emerge.
So much in life is uncertain. Our values are not. Community, integrity, and a commitment to continual learning form the soil from which our work grows.
At Wild Indigo Counseling, we understand healing as inherently relational. The work happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and within the nervous systems shaped by our environments. Our care is informed by modern neuroscience and grounded in an ongoing commitment to clinical growth, curiosity, and responsibility.
We were created to be more than a therapy practice. Rooted in Greensboro and serving North Carolina, we offer counseling alongside education, workshops, and collaboration—bringing healing out of isolation and into community.
