Who

Who Thrives at Wild Indigo?

Wild Indigo Counseling is looking for licensed, curious, and community-minded clinicians who want to grow, collaborate, and help shape a practice that truly reflects their values.

We welcome applicants with the following licenses: LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, and LCSW.

You might thrive here if you:

  • Value autonomy and flexibility without the administrative burdens of starting a solo practice

  • Appreciate a low-drama, high-integrity culture built on clear communication and mutual respect

  • Are eager to learn or already skilled in nervous system–aware, trauma-informed, and relational therapy approaches

  • Enjoy co-creating groups, workshops, or community initiatives—from somatic therapy circles to creative programs

  • Seek a supportive, trustworthy environment where your voice matters and your growth is prioritized

Wild Indigo is a home for seasoned clinicians, those just establishing their practice, and anyone who wants to practice intentional, human-centered therapy without the burnout and bureaucracy of traditional models.

What

What are We Offering?

At Wild Indigo, we pride ourselves on building roles around what clinicians actually want and need.

Compensation & Administrative Support

  • W‑2 hourly pay: $45–$60 per clinical hour, depending on licensure and experience

  • Paid administrative hours: Up to 5 hours/week for full-time clinicians, 2 hours/week for part-time

  • Admin work (notes, case consultation, staff meetings, trainings) is compensated at $20/hour

Schedule & Caseload

  • Flexible scheduling:  control over your days, evenings, and weekends

  • Full-time clinicians: Average ~25 client hours/week

  • Part-time positions: Start at 9 client hours/week

  • Focus is on sustainable, meaningful work, not overbooked caseloads

Benefits & Growth

  • Wellness stipend for self-care and professional development

  • Growing toward comprehensive benefits, including high-quality health insurance as the practice expands

  • Support for provisionally licensed clinicians, including supervision and mentorship options

  • Transparent, startup-friendly approach: We shape policies and benefits around what clinicians actually want, rather than forcing them into a “one-size-fits-all” model

Work Environment

  • Beautiful, fully furnished offices designed to feel warm, grounded, and human

  • Shared lounge, snacks, and coffee encourage connection

  • Opportunities to collaborate with adjacent integrative providers (massage, somatic therapies, medical professionals)

At Wild Indigo, clinicians are empowered to practice in an environment that’s flexible, supportive, and designed around human needs.

Why

Why Wild Indigo?

Wild Indigo Counseling isn’t just another practice—it’s a place where mental health care is being reimagined. Inspired by the resilient native wild indigo plant, we believe people—and practices—can thrive when planted in the right environment.

Joining our flagship team means more than a job: it’s a chance to help shape the future of the practice itself. Even with a clear, intentional structure, your ideas, insights, and perspective will influence benefits, policies, and the direction of the work. Here, your voice matters—and you’ll see it reflected in the way we grow.

Community isn’t a buzzword here—it’s the foundation of everything we do. From workshops and initiatives to partnerships across Greensboro and North Carolina, we are constantly finding ways to connect, give back, and become part of the local fabric.

At Wild Indigo, clinicians can practice relational, nervous-system aware therapy in a supportive, flexible, and values-driven environment, while being part of a team committed to doing things differently, building something real, and creating space for everyone to bloom.
